when i was in the mental hospital i wore regular clothes.....with slip resistant socks (wasn't allowed to go barefoot).....

there were a couple of people who wore robes but the majority wore regular clothes.....

No! Its called a mental health hospital! You are allowed to wear your own cloths but no shoes or belts allowed. The funny farm as you call it is there to help people that are sick. The hospital is very concerned with the patients that are there, they need medical attention and supervision until they are able to take care of their selves again. I Thank God for these hospitals, they have saved my life more than once. Hugs! Von

What is s/o?? And what is 'funny farm' referring to? If you are referring to a psychiatric facility, you wear your own clothes unless you are a suicide risk, then you wear clothes that cannot be used to hurt yourself with. They are usually made of paper.

Most "funny farms" do not have a dress code in order to keep there "guests" happy.
