Nobody can harm your soul except you. Your body may be harmed, even killed, but you are immortal.

The prophet cannot mean that a literal weapon. Weapon is metaphoric to a person (who may have a weapon). Isaiah did not say he cannot be harmed (he was not invincible nor immortal). It is clear that he admitted that weapons (people) can be formed against him. However, that that person (weapon) will not prosper. Prosper here, does not mean the prophet could not be injured or killed. So even if he were to die by the hand of a weapon, that person, still would not gain anything. "Real Things Happen to Real people in a Real World" (a quote from Pastor L.W. Robinson - Jamaica). The Psalmist said, " Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints," 116:15. The Isaiah verse is not saying Christians cannot be injured or killed but the person committing the act gains nothing. The Christian, however, will gain. According to Daniel 7:25, the man of sin will, "...wear out the saints of the most High." False hope mixed with misinterpretation is not good for a healthy Christian life. Christians can become sick, injured and may even die. So many of the early apostles died for the name of Jesus and it is okay to triumph in death, " O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 1Cor. 15:55.

Weapons formed against us in the spirit realm are things we recognize in the soulish or emotional realm as hate, envy, lust, and fear. Satan will attempt to make us lie, cheat and steal from others through these feelings. If we overcome by the word of our testimony and the blood of the lamb, we will have broken down these strongholds that would have dominion over us.

This means that as you are following God's will for your life and when you're keeping in a healthy relationship with Him as your Guide and Shepherd, then the weapons of many different varieties that the enemies to our faith (the world system, the fleshly human nature, and the evil one himself), may try to bring against us in warfare will be stopped by the power of God through prayer and the testimony of our lives lived before Him in truth.

The weapon will form (not from GOD) from satan, but will not suceed.
You have to Learn How to Fight the Good Fight of Faith to Overcome.
If you sit back and do nothing, even though you are a Child of GOD, it just might prosper.
We are suppose to Grow after we get Born-Again.
It is like us raising our own kids.
After a while, the kid grows and you Teach him to feed himself.
After a while, GOD steps back and lets YOU start fighting a few of your own Battles---against satan.
