If you don't want your paint pulling off when you strip that border later, it had better be completely cured...at minimum a week.

My painter says overnight for latex flat paint. Latex semigloss needs a wallpaper primer before you put it up. Oil based paint a little longer.

It acutally depends wat kind of paint u r using....for example if u use a red paint and it says "wait 20-30 min. be4 doing anything" it usually says how much time!
