His name was Ed. Riordan, from Cork City, Ireland. He Left for America in the late 20s. He was employed by General Electric in New York City, where he died in either 1966 or 1967. The only other piece of information I have is that he re-married, the lady he married was German.

Go to Google and enter Heritage or Irish Immigrants. They will give
you several sites, but the best in your case will be an American site
which tracks all immigrants into the USA as far back as you wish.
They will give you if and when he served, when entered, when and
whom he married, burial site and all the way to you. You may possibly have to pay a small fee but it is worth it. Good luck, iain

do you have a family tree around? if not, ask your parents about it. they're always a great family resource. if you don't live with your birth parents, which i totally understand, because i don't live with mine, then try google. i hope i've helped.
