the acura TL would be the best..its made by honda. hondas NEVER have any problems as long as there maintained normally(oil changes ect..)
we had the accord which is the TL..we never had any problems. and i have an acura integra which is still running strong(its a 98 with 62K) (ive had 2 also..my 96 still ran strong when i sold it it had 95K miles)

If I may add one to the list since you are definetly within budget of this and it looks like you want something with luxury and performance.
The Subaru STI (the performance on this car blows those 4 outta the water. although the luxury compared to those is almost non-existent)
But if I was to go for those 4. I have friends who own the Lexus, Infinity, and TL. And I was most impressed with the Lexus.

The VW has reliability issues. Personal choice on the rest; they're all equally reliable and competent cars. I'd go with the Acura myself but wouldn't refuse either of the others if the price was right.

It's not on your list and it's a little beyond the 40k mark loaded. But the bmw 335i is a much better performing car than any of those mentioned, and just a little more money. I think you should modify your list.

definitely the Infiniti they are the great vehicle for all intents and purposes. superior craftsmanship and value for the buck. will last minimum 300k mls and great for a boy or a girl. of course i'm bios cause i sell Nissan and since your in the market have you checked out the maxima by Nissan really great vehicle i have one and am in love

bein a car dealer you would be happiest with lexus or the acura as long as you have a dealer and repairshop in your area..they are both dependable,and have the looks to go along with it and a great ride
