Why are there bad spirits?

Please don't give me the Christian answer of the devil and his agents - I've heard that. I want to know why many spiritual people warn away from the ouja board or what have you if there is no such entity as the devil? Who are they then and why would they want to cause harm? Thoughts?

i have been working with spirit for years now
i know people who have worked with spirit for over 30 years ..
and not once have they experienced anything but loving spirit

we would not reccomend using a ouija board because you open yourself up to your own fears ...
and these fears can manifest in a way that would appear to be an evil entity ... i have experienced and studied many of these
i have seen a case where people have deliberatly created such an energy as an experiment
so no i do not believe it can bring evil spirit
but yes i would advise that you leave well alone xx

Hi, good question. When we depart this earthly life our soul goes to the 'spirit world' or Heaven. Those who have committed crimes or the ultimate sins often do not 'pass over' into the Light, or spirit, because they are afraid of what will be waiting for them(punishment) because of their behaviour when on the earth plane. So they remain earthbound and prey on the vulnerable i.e. those who are depressed, or who also are not of very good character. When using the ouja board, these spirits see an opportunity to cause mayhem, which is in their character, and so they latch on to those using it. The ouja board has to be used by those knowing what they are doing, who can protect themselves from evil coming through. The majority of people using the ouja board are just messing about and so are a prime target for such bad spirits. Hope this has answered your question sufficiently - I am a Spiritualist Medium by the way, so do know what I am talking about - most of the time anyway!!!!

i dont really believe in them but have read and heard about it. everyone one has a spirit which doesnt die as quickly like the body. it is kinda part of the mind. u get bad people and so bad spirits. when someone dies if they are very unsatistified and need to complete something on earth sometimes their spirit can get stuck here for a short period (aka a ghost).

my great uncle used an ouja board to communicate with his dad in heaven. the dad came and gave some advice and said "now leave me in peace".

if u do not understand how to use the ouja board or any other method like this then u may awaken the wrong persons spirit. why they want to cause harm: only the ones who were evil on earth would have bad spirits and would want to.

OK...well...the "devil" is a real being. I AM a Christian, so, I'm sorry, but a Christian answer is what I'll give.

Here's basically "why there are bad spirits." God created everything. He created the world, and the physical things on it, and He created the supernatural. He created all the angels, to serve and worship Him. One angel in particular, Lucifer, was more beautiful than the others, and he got proud. He tried to set himself up as a god, rebelling against the true God's authority. God, in turn, condemned him and kicked him out of heaven. One third of the angels decided to follow Lucifer, and they were cast out of heaven as well. Now they are Satan and his demons.

Angels, unlike us, don't get a second chance. Demons know they are condemned, and Satan knows he will one day be cast into a lake of fire. He knew that one day a plan would be fulfilled to redeem mankind after they fell, and he tried hard to stop the promised Messiah from coming. He failed, and now he tries hard to keep people from coming to a saving knowledge of Christ. He will have to suffer one day, and the more people he can pull down with him, the better.

Satan and his demons are supernatural. No, they don't have the power that God has, and there are things they can't do (they are not omnipresent, for one, and they cannot read our minds), but they ARE still supernatural, and they can pose as gods or "good spirits," or basically anything. Things like witchcraft, the occult, Ouja boards, are their ways of appearing as good. The Bible says that Satan appears as an angel of light. He won't LOOK evil, but he'll do anything to keep you away from God's truth, even showing you things that seem to be magical, in order to get you to believe that he is a god. The ouja board may actually show you something that is true, but in then, it's truth mixed with a lie, and that (if you remember from middle school math class) makes the whole thing false. In the end, the price will be the relationship with Jesus that was rejected.

Telling a xtian not to give a xtian answer is pointless....they really can't help themselves (obviously).

The devil does exist for those who choose to believe in that sort of thing. I personally do not.

The reason people warn about the oujia board is because it's like opening a door to the public without regard to who walks in....who knows who you'll get. Their warning has nothing to do with the devil at all.

You asked, why are there bad spirits? Just as it is in the physical world, there is light and there is dark. You cannot have one without the other.

How can you possibly know light if you've never known dark?

Satan and his demons were thrown out of heaven(Rev.12:7).They were thrown to the vicinity of the earth.They are wicked spirit creatures who take great pleasure in the suffering of man.Items of divination such as ouja boards are a avenue that these demons use to communicate with humans.
Satan and his demons have great anger,knowing that their time is running out.They know their destruction is at hand.And they want to draw as many away from Jehovah as they can before the end.(Rev.12:12)

If you are asking if there is a dimension of existence were good and bad spirits dwell and what is the reason for this?
And can they harm us?
Is that what you are asking?

Only the living can harm you as life is lived today by us humans.
Logically sanely this is so. |The rest is pure assumption.
In this world unhealthy unbalanced brains/minds cause endless harm. We label as bad.
As little goodness seems to be present it seems most of us are damaged in some way. Therefore a fearful mind may speculate endlessly.

Listen if you don't want the biblical answer then you shouldn't ask stupid questions. evil spirits are demons whether you like it or not. By the way their is no such thing as a god Spirit neither, except the Holy Spirit. (well He is God after all.)

If you believe in bad spirits you have to believe in good spirits
Bad=Devil
Good=God
The Devil will do everything to harm us but will never conquer Jesus Christ.

Before you rant and rave at my thoughts I actually do work with people under the influence of evil spirits, not one of them want to turn the clock back once the have experience the love of Jesus Christ.
