Some people like diet sodas for the taste, but the chemicals that are added in them make them actually worse for your health than regular sodas. Hope I could help!

No it's not.

The natural sugars in a regular soda, your body knows how to break down. Despite the superficial logic that consuming fewer calories will produce weight loss, the evidence is very clear that using artificial sweeteners will cause a paradoxical effect and actually cause you to gain weight. When using artificial sweeteners, you not only have the same insulin and leptin issues but you now must contend with the toxic effects of these artificial chemicals.

Aspartame: This chemical is used as a sugar substitute in diet soda. There are over 92 different health side effects associated with aspartame consumption including brain tumors, birth defects, diabetes, emotional disorders and epilispsy/seizures.

I don't see how diet soda is any better than regular soda. The more studies that are conducted the more proof is offered that man-made chemicals harm the body more than god-made things such as sugar. Just look at all the new evidence against shortening, aka trans-fats, and natural fats like butter. Butter is better for you than Crisco.

And if diet soda is so great for you, why are so many of the people that drink it fat?

No. I have read that diet soda makes you crave sugar, ruins your kidneys and even causes MS. Regular soda rots the enamel off your teeth and makes you fat. Dude, try and give it up completely. I did and I am much HAPPIER.

The diet soda doesn't have any calories but it tastes less sweet. Regular soda is more fattening and unhealthy. But both of them can give you rocks.
