If it is an SD card, then it probably has a locking slide on it. Move that little slide to the opposite position.

Some memory cards have a little part that you slide that locks and unlocks. Sometimes you can do this in the settings of the camera but is very rare.

picasa is a Google's photo software. It's what should've come with your camera.
It can Edit , organise and Share you picture and small video flips.
It's very easy to use and is free, just like Google
