In response to sunni/shia responses:
Those are not "denominations" or even "sects". They are political divisions that have become more cultural than anything.
Nation of Islam, ahmaadis, bahai's, all these groups are NOT part of Islam and ALL recognize this.
We share the SAME book, we share the SAME prophet, we share everything. None of them abrogate the Qur'an or reject beliefs.
Christians don't share the same book. Christians don't share the same beliefs. Christians don't even share Jesus. There are christians THAT DON'T believe in trinity.
When you hear of "revised version of the Qur'an" or a "king james version of the qur'an" then you can say Islam is like christianity. Inshallah it will never happen!

A long time ago, and even now, people have read the Bible, and from their perception of what they read, they formed a new religion based off the Bible. Of course there is a lot of info in the Bible that is black and White, so to speak. Everyone has their own interpretation of Gods message. It doesn't make any of them right or wrong.

Bible Christianity is the only true religion. Differences usually is church governments and rituals, nothing to do with its doctrines.
If doctrines different from Bible, they are false.
In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives you air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives you water to drink and food to eat.
God gives you a wonderful body and sound mind, to live.
God loves you, and you are precious to Him.
Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation.
Jesus’ love is boundless and everlasting.
We have the hope of Heaven through Jesus.
Life therefore has fantastic and glorious future!
(Digestion of above can even prevent depression and suicide attempt.)

And Islam is united? Not only are there Sunnis and Shi'ites, but the Shi'ites are divided into countless sects, Twelvers, Seveners, Ismailis, Alevis, etc.; then there are the Druze and the Ahmadiyyah, Kharijites, etc. etc.

We are united as Christians by the Bible and our relationship with Jesus. Your body is many parts. Your statement disguised as a question would be like saying the body is not all fingers so it can not be a body.

Christianity has different denominations. Although each have their different denominations, we are all united in the body of Christ.
So another words, we all have different doctrines - but only one Savior - Jesus Christ.
Christianity is not a false religion.
