Eurostar.

Don't even consider going by plane. The flight may be shorter than the train (only just though, when you take into account stacking/queuing/landing slot) but travelling to the airport, check-in, baggage claim, travel into Paris etc etc adds on loads more time.

The train is much more civilised, you've got more room, surprisingly good food in 1st, and you arrive in the heart of the city - there isn't even any customs/security when you arrive so you walk stright off the train and into Paris!

Travelling is far the quickest and often cheapest, after you add on airline surchages and taxes, I use it all the time to go to work in Paris and it delivers you to the heart of London.

I wouldn't suggest Ryanair, although looks cheap when booking the cost of getting to and from airport can become more costly then you think.

or
by Plane: Easyjet

both have websites for you to check out prices, make reservations and buy your ticket...

Eurostar though the Chunnel is probably the fastest. It'll be even faster next year when the high speed link to London is done.

Eurostar is the fastest and cheapest.

But if you want to take your car along so that you can see around a bit, take your car to Dover and go by the ferry.
