Well Me and BB are pretty good friends. Iv'e known her for almost 4 years now. A few days ago on a class camping trip that lasted 3 days, i asked her out. She said that I'm cool and all but that she just doesn't like me. She said we can still remain friends but just not as close as I would like. I don't think we could be friends because it would be to awkward. I realy think I'm in LOVE with her. I want to ask her out again but I'm afraid I might completely shy her away. Before I asked her out I snuck into her room and planted a stuffed monkey on her bed. I dont know what I should do.
P.S. She wanted to buy the monkey herself but it was to expensive.

Please back off for now. She needs time to absorb what you asked her. After all you have gone up a notch from being friends. Eventually, the time will be right to ask her out again. Wait a couple of months. First you need to find out what does she look for in dating a guy. You might be the person and you might not. Please do not say you will change for her but be real with her. Tell her you may not be what she is looking for right now but you can show her a good time. Love takes a while for some people. Give her time.

Well Vex, if she has told you that she doesn't feel for you in the same way that you feel for her then I would suggest you let it go. If you think you can't just be friends because of you feelings for her then go ahead, ask her out and push the issue because she won't be your friend at all then. I know how you feel and yes it is a little awkward but you need to get on with your life and let her get on with hers. If she asks about the monkey just say it is a gift from a good friend and leave it at that. Also I would stop sneaking into her room when she is not there it could get you into some serious trouble. I think the word pervert would come into the conversation somewhere ( I am not suggesting that you are a pervert) If you want to be her friend then work it out, if you don't then move on.

If you just want her to know its from you... maybe sneak in a cute card that says something like "even though you're not for me, I thought this monkey deserved a chance"
And let that be it. She may not be into you, but she can at least appreciate your kindness.

don't make her feel pressured to go out with you just because you bought her the monkey or something, i mean if she really enjoys your friendship maybe you should give her some time, but keep on trying!
