Q: The installer freezes at "installing Java," so the LimeWire installation never finishes. What can I do?
A: The Java installer can occasionally freeze on some systems. While we (and InstallShield) are not sure precisely what is causing this problem, there is a potential work-around. The following steps may get your LimeWire up and running successfully.

1.When the installer freezes, DO NOT STOP THE INSTALL PROCESS.
2.Go to the Start > Settings > Control Panel window.
3.Go to "Add/Remove Programs".

I still don't know where to find step 2,no where it is? Thanks for the help.

It means the Start menu. Down there on the bottom left part of the screen. Depending on which operating system you use, it should have the Control Panel as an option.

I had the same problem once. This could be due to java runtime environment not being present on your computer. Search for "jre" in google and download it onto ur comp n then try to install again.
