Okay there is the ***** college fund right? And the black Miss America and there's things for hispanics. What would happen if a white people applied for any of these? could they reject them because they're not black or hispanic? Isn't that racism? If there can be a black ms. America why can't there be a white Ms. america? Cuz I know that they do let black woman run in the regular ms. America pageant. None of this crap is really making sense!

Are you white? Then apply for one of these things. Tell them 1 in 6 white people has a black ancestor. Point out that there is a racial issue as long as people choose do divide people along these lines. They are furthering racsim by making it seem like a non-white woman can't measure up when compared to a white woman, just like Mattel did in the old days with Barbie(there was was only white and blond Barbie back in the day). Or they make it seem like whitey won't give them a fair shot, which makes them resentful.

it's affirmative action and it is wrong. not only does it keep those most qualified for anything down at the bottom, it gives the impression that other races are not smart enough or pretty enough to compete with whites. the miss black America should be banished forever, because it is obvious they can compete and win against other races, as far as college funds and jobs, an application should hide anything that shows the ethnicity and the applicant should should be picked solely on their qualifications.

I am "white" and I don't see anything wrong with having a contest for only one race.The black colleges do let other races in,so that's not an issue.I don't concern myself with petty differences.My concern is for the security of our borders and the influx of an seeming endless flow of illegal immigration to this country.If you are here legally I don't care if you have exclusionary organization or events
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,and a lot of people think women should only look one way.we are flooded with "beauty standards" that are very one way in their focus.The thought that there is only beauty in the blond,blue eyed,fair skin,slim woman has given away to the fact that woman of all nationality's have great beauty.The black woman with her great skin colors and cheekbones,lovely full lips,the Latin woman with ,her voluptuous body
and huge eyes,the Asian woman with her delicate dainty features and fantastic hair.and all the other beautiful women of this nation.Just enjoy the world around you and don't worry about the small stuff.

All of these things started out when white on black racism was rampant. Things have changed, not enough, not for everyone everywhere, but it has changed. Traditionally black colleges are finding that their enrollments are diminishing and even the black community doesn't know if this is good or bad for them in the long run. It will be interesting to see how assimilation plays out in the years to come.
If it doesn't make sense to you then you don't remember the truly awful days of dogs and water cannon set on people whose only crime was wanting to go to school with whites. Or tiny children being spat upon by red-faced white men for the crime of attending a white elementary school. A little history makes for a lot of understanding.

I hope the time comes when their is no need for Miss Black this or Miss Hispanic that or Miss Italian or Miss Irish......but that's a long way from here and maybe not in our lifetime.

I think it is criminal that there was a time that a ***** child would not be admited to a white hospital.
I think it would be equally criminal if a white child would not be admited to a black hospital.
The rest is bad, but petty compared to that.

Minority rights being in issue at the present, it would not be politically correct to promote "white only" scholarships, contests, and the like.

And it never will no mater how much some people want it to one day people will realize that we are all intitled to the same life just not togather hence the fall of babylon just my opinion
