I think they mix women into the judges panel and that makes it okay. But frankly there's the issue of us not wanting our preteen kids to dress 'like grown-ups' (usually referring to dressing too scantily), and yet there are these beauty contests where they dress like adults...
Edit: I think there's more to it than being hot-looking, there's also cuteness and poise involved. But it potentially does draw pedophiles, agreed.

Good thinking..you're exactly right! I have the most beautiful daughter in the world and I would NEVER do something like that to her. The whole idea is sick. Little girls shouldn't be made to look like a grown women..the parents are just out of their minds to think it doesn't get some nasty grown mend to thinking strange thoughts.

No,I think it's sick. The parents are retarded if they think their kids look "cute" in evening dress and a ton of make-up. They're practically screaming out to pedos "Check out my kid"
