This is the software inside the camera, not the computer program to place photos on the computer.

Sorry everyone, I should have mentioned that I had lost the ability to preview or see subject before taking picture, then if I try to take picture, no picture appears.
Have tried resetting with paper-clip in bottom like Sony suggests, no results of what is needed.
When I first attempted to download my pictures into X-P, a brief notification came up from I believe the anti-virus program, that an unfamilure program was detected, and was being removed.
I had no problems downloading pictures before when using Win 98.
Camera is a Sony DSC-P51

the camera has flashable software that can not be deleted
