You need to be more mathematic and computer science about this type of question. There are a lot of variables. Basically, you will print, and the print algorithms of the software will divide your picture into pages. Then you will have to tape them together.

Unless you have a poster printer. Then you just install the software, and pick the picture, size it right and print.

sometimes you can put in print options poster size and it will print out the sections so you can tape them together.

If you had a big enough printer, I doubt you'd be asking this question, so I'd say you do not have a big enough printer.
