Essay outline, Jonathan Edwards.?
I have to write an essay about how Jonathan Edwards supports one of the 5 points of calvinism (I have to choose one). My paper is to be based on Sinners in the hands of an Angry God. I need an outline to follow. Any other ideas or tips for an A paper would be appreciated.

This is a good essay on the topic and the sources are authoritative.

Edwards articulates this doctrine: “There is nothing that keeps wicked men, at any one moment, out of hell, but the mere pleasure of God.” By “mere pleasure,” Edwards explains, he means God’s “sovereign pleasure, his arbitrary will, restrained by no obligation, hindered by no manner of difficulty, any more than if nothing else but God’s mere will had in the least degree, or in any respect whatsoever, any hand in the preservation of wicked men one moment.”

Unconditional Election is the U in TULIP (5 Points). Also note that the 5 Points were developed two generations after Calvin's death.

GOD Deals with Mankind through the New Testament (Contract with Mankind on Salvation)now.
After HIS SON Jesus Died on the Cross-----dealings with Human Beings Changed---GOD didn't CHANGE, HE just changed the Way HE Deals with us.
I don't know who Jonathan Edwards is.
