im sorry to say, but no, stomach exercises do not take away any excess fat that you may have. the only way to to do so is to do some sort of cardio workout like running. your abs might be toned and tight but if its hidden under a layer of fat, then im afraid it wont do you much good in the slimming department.

Hello and first off, you should be proud of yourself for trying to get healthy and improve your self-appearance. Warning though, do not go to an extreme as many girls do and abuse your body.
Your belly will not go away on its own when you stop growing. This is something that you will have to work at. Since you are still young, a really great way to help make your belly smaller is to eat better and try to drop some weight if it is needed. Exercising will also help you lose weight and tone up your body, and the best way is what you are already doing which is stomach exercises. Just make sure you are doing them properly so you are not wasting your time. Try to work on your cardio as well such as jogging, walking, riding bikes, etc. That will also help with losing weight which will decrease the size of your belly as well as any other trouble areas you have. Eventually, as you eat healthy and exercise on a regular basis, you will lose your belly. I am not going to lie, it will be a challenge and it never will get easy, but the results will be well worth it!!!! Hope this helps!

If you have stubborn belly fat, the only way you can reduce your fat is by doing aerobic exercises. During activities like swimming, rowing and walking, enough oxygen is supplied to the body to burn fat. Fat is burned from all over the body, including the stomach. If aerobic exercises are done regularly over a period of time, you will gradually lose weight. The healthiest way to prevent a fat stomach is by ensuring that your weight is normal for your height. Ensure that the energy provided by the food you eat matches the energy you burn performing your daily activities. Losing fat around the stomach takes time. It has no touching on it. it may seem to be diverse in basic terms because you're laying on it diverse. little question it seems diverse than once you're laying flat on your back or once you're status in front of the reflect. exercising extra and devour much less JUNK.

No. Unfair isn't? Only way to make sure you lead a healthy lifestyle. take total control of what you eat and exercise regularly. Do it for six month and you'll even be able to have washboard abs.

Keep doing those exercises and be sure to eat right. It'll take a while, but if you're doing everything right you're sure to get a flat stomach. ^^

you are at that age when you body will change alot.....however, i felt really sad when i read your comment....before you exercise, talk to your mum, doctor, adult friend, and get advise on how to like who you are before you make changes, then you will find you are not so worried about your 'belly'.

If you do crunches you must breath properly or you will get a big pouch of muscle on your abs. Inhale when crunching up and exhale as you release.
