I understand the concern. I've only had one so far, and questioned it since I didn't see anything wrong. No response yet.

My personal issue is stupid / clever / poorly written (even incoherent) questions .... those I can be pretty blunt on, if I even feel a response is worthwhile. That said, I try (but don't always succeed) to be at least polite.

That said, your profile shows you have helped a lot of people, so I had alook at a few of your answers. Most looked fair to me -- if a bit blunt -- but one struck me as being both curt and not helpful (Q: Hints re a distance relationship? A: Move.).

You might want to step back and look at answers that have been flagged as violations and try to see from the askers perspective.
- Was it useful?
- Did it answer the question?

Aside: In the the case I noted above I would suggest the answer to both is no.

Personally I'm not worried if someone didn't like the answer, as long as I feel it was fair and provided a reasonable response I'm happy.

With free speech comes responsibility. Regardless of what some people who visit Answers think, there are Community Guidelines to follow when posting here. I see posts here every day that I find offensive - and it takes alot to offend me.

The last sentence of your post is laced with "attitude", which I suspect is alot of the reason you're getting multiple violations.

So, if you are a kid and you are getting a lot of violation notices, why do you think that is. Maybe you don't have a clear definition of what free speech is.

I am expecting to get a few soon, I can't stand all the bull that's going on in this site. If people don't want to hear what others have to say then they shouldn't bother asking open questions. It takes all kinds to make up this world and if your skin isn't think then wear a leather suit.

My grandpa used to have a saying he used sometimes; "it's not what he said that made me angry, it's the way he looked when he said it"..........this may have nothing to do with free speech, rather it may have to do with the manner in which you say it. Don't know, never read anything by you other than this question.

Of course you do ( I do too!)....but it's okay. Free speech is just that. It's free, so don't worry about it. Someone's always gonna get into their feelings, just try to keep it clean and make your point at the same time.....Good Luck!

seems some people dont care about freedoms and others care about enforcing their veiws and if you do not pay the mmind they pus the abuse button too quickly sorry to say it but some need ot first think before reacting. After all histor yand you will see lots of things where done due ot someone not fully thinking things through.

Freedom of speech must not of been explained to you properly. It guarantees us the right to voice our opinions within reason(not vulgarity)without recourse. Not the right to use swear words to replace normal english!Go back to school, and learn the real meaning of things, before asking such dumb questions!
