Off-the-wall Q a bit ..........
Guitar leads, telephone leads, etc. all nice and coily.
Obviously a lot of folks know how they are produced.
I don't, although being a bit of an engineer, I can't see how you do it.
Must be a smart idea & process.
Please advise. With humour.

The outer sheath is a special mix of pvc/plastic or rubber which has a bit of 'memory'. The long straight lengths are then wound around a tube of a suitable diameter which is then heated, this restructures the molecules in the sheath. It is then cooled and cut into suitable lengths and packaged.
