I have been with him for 2 years already, and I told him "I love you" but he never said it back, he said he was glad to hear how I feel about him. I am very sure he loves me but he didn't say it. Why is that?

Some men have a hard time expressing their feelings. I think this is a man thing. Sometimes maybe he feel that he's not going to tell you just cause you said it to him first. I think you should start off simple and ask him if he cares about you. When you care about a person it's not quite the same as what you want to hear so he jumps around the response. he obviously is not sure what he feels and to me it would seem that after this long that he should know he either does or does not love you but some me have a hard time saying this to a woman so if you think he does he probably does even if he doesn't say it but if you feel like he does not then kick him to the curb go with your gut feeling. Only your gut feeling will tell you what to expect and what you need to do.. Good Luck.....

Maybe guys are shy in some ways.. But let me tell you another aspect of what too much "I Love You"can do 2 a person.. If you use too much "I Love You" the other person may feel very uncomfortable soo yea...The feel kinda suffocated.. I felt tt way before and trust me, I'd realli like it if my BF use less of his "I Love Yous"

Frankly? Boys are wimps when it comes to saying "I love you"...for the most part, anyways. Some, for example, (such as my boyfriend) says i love you too soon just to get it done and out of the way...others feel like they want it to be with the perfect girl, so they wait....and wait......and wait.....Others are just scared of that amount of commitment. He may feel that he loves you, but maybe he just is afraid of telling you because then he's commited to you!

Your boyfriend is probably feeling that you guys have been together for to long. That maybe you to weren't meant to be together. So my advise to you is that stop saying that you love him and maybe he'll feel bad and say that he loves you instead of you saying it to him first.

TALK TO HIM AND TELL HIM ABOUT UR CONCERNS. A SUCCESSFUL RELATIONSHIP IS BASED ON COMMUNICATION AND HONESTY. AFTER ALL UR A TEAM, U SHOULD DEAL WITH UR PROBLEMS TOGETHER. TWO YEARS IS A LONG TIME AND I THINK IT'S QUITE ENOUGH TO MAKE HIM FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH U AND TELL U HIS FEELINGS. THERE MIGHT BE ANOTHER PROBLEM! BUT THE ONLY WAY TO FIND OUT IS TO DISCUSS IT WITH HIM.

Say it again. Then ask him "aren't you gona tell me the same thing" if he doent ask him why. Why try to guess when you can just ask.
