I have two answers. One is sarcastic (but true), two is not sarcastic (still true)
ONE:
They were born.
TWO:
People have neglected to properly educate their children. Those children produce children who are also denied proper education...perpetuating the cycle of ignorence.
Solution? Parents, talk to your kids. Don't let them sit in front of the tv and computer all the time. Allow a child to explore and ask questions - teach them. Be honest with them, encourage them to open up and ask questions - to the parents..
I too am flabergasted of the question some ask. They should have been taught by their parents. But they are not to blame, per se, even though the questions seem so "duh", at least they are seeking the answers.
