Well I can tell you now it is never too late. Good for you. There are now special programs as well that you can earn your high school diplomia a little quicker where you have had a child as well. I'm very honored to be speaking to a lady that has a good head on her shoulders. Oh and if you are thinking of getting a college degree, which I highly recommend by the way, several colleges have scholarships for single parents. I know, that is how I got my degrees ;-). And you know what, I toted my four year old child with me to my classes in college, and my professors and my classmates were so great, really they were. She is now 15 years old, and planning on going to college herself now. She tells everyone that she is working toward her second bachelors degree.

Gee girl I know that a lot of people look at having a baby as the end of your life but be real here you are only 18. Your local high school has some form of alternative to regular high school- call them, sign up and go. Some schools even have day care. And after you do that go to your local community college and make a real good life for you and your child.Statistics say that a 4 year college degree is worth about 1 million dollars over the course of your life-go for it!!!!! You are so young you have plenty of time but dont wait. Don't let one little precious error stop you, that little precious one is a good reason to go!!!!!!!!Good Luck!!!!!!!

If you want to attend daytime classes, you still have time but start now. Call the school and ask if you can enroll. Night classes are always available for adults to get a GED. Some employers will not accept a GED - they want a diploma. Don't let that hold you back. Get your education. Best of luck to you.

The school might actually have an age limit on coming back. If so you can look into alternate means of finishing your education such as night classes, at home study and then testing to see if you pass, or just going for your G.E.D.
Good luck.

hun i was 31 when i decided i needed that diploma at 18 you can go to a real high school you have plenty of time to finish you can go to public high schools until your 23 i assume you were a senior so so you have like 5 years to go back. the GED is good but the high school diploma is better.

It's great that you want to go back to learning again!
It's never too late, but the sooner, the better. But you'll need to check with the authorities about it.
All the best :)
