Step 1 - reduce the amount of fat you have to burn in the first place by eating a more sensible diet.

Step 2 - exercise such that your heart rate is elevated for at least 20 minutes every day. You will find you can increase this number after quite a short period of time (approximately 2 weeks)

Step 3 - continue for the rest of your life. It'll make you look good at all times!
