The Lakes, what lakes, do you think the internet is only in your local town?

Hey folks, remember, when you are looking for one quality in a bed and breakfast, you can't beat cheapness.

You wont find cheap in the lake district. Hillthwaite house is nice, with a pool too, and very good food. But its not a cheapie. I think the min you will pay is £100 a night.

There is a nice one called The Loghouse In Ambleside, It cost £70 a night for a room I think. But there are loads cheaper, A nice one is called Stepping stones in Rydal Nr Ambleside.
There is a pub near Keswick called The Mill Its is about £50 for a room ITs in a village called Mungrisedale.
The Gables Ambleside, There is also a very cheap backpacker style place in Ambleside called The Backpackers you will just have to put the names in the search engine as I don'tknow the websites.

Can't recommend a good cheap B&B as it has been years since I last went to the Lake District. You may want to try using Smooth Hounds http://www.smoothhound.co.uk/ to see if you can find one in your price range.
