I have friends with teenage kids who try social drugs on and off.
Like their parents I having never been involved in recreational drug taking and know very little about it
In Australia "Ice" seems to be the new drug to look out for. How dangerous is it compared to other party drugs. Is it highly addictive and is it as bad as say heroin or the other hard drugs we hear about.?

ice is a highly pure form of speed made first in San Diego in the 1970's. it is very addictive and dangerous. i have done it before and they say all it takes is a match head worth, they are right that much wired me so tight i was up 3 days. please stop your friends kids NOW. it does not take long to get you wrapped up in the drug. i got arrested in 1998 for being under the influence of it. it still took 6 months after doing rehab to stop, i was still on it doing rehab. the path they are about to go down is very scary and they will not be themselves. they will start stealing soon to get the drug. lots of people kill themselves while using it. get them help NOW PLEASE. i can not say it enough, DO NOT LET THEM GO DOWN THE SAME PATH I DID, HELP THEM.

Instead Of Asking Is It Dangerous, The Question Should Be How Can I Clean Up Our Neighbourhood And Get Rid Of The Drugs That Are Being Passed Around At Parties. The Answers Simple Keep Your Kids Away From The Source And Inform The Local Drug Squad Of the Problem And Locations If Known. NUFF SAID. Have A Gooday Mate.

It is a highly addictive and dangerous hard drug not "social" "recreational" or "party" it could take a hold of the child you once knew and turn them into addicts that can only think about smoking or injecting that terrible poison. Do NOT take this lightly if you love your kids in the least!!! In America I have seen countless lives ruined by this horrible drug. The beautiful island of Hawaii has had a devastating epidemic affecting their population. Mothers, Fathers, Sons and Daughters will lie, cheat, steal, sell their body just to get more!!! It is as bad or much worse than they say.

Ice is methamphetamine (super speed) It is NOT highly addictive but is very dangerous as a super stimulant. Technically one cannot get addicted to stimulants but tell that to crack addicts. The Thais call it YaBah (Crazy Medicine) It produces a big buzz and makes one immune to booze. However, it has a long sleepless comedown that can be quite dirty. I dont know anyone who really likes it.

in response to the last ans. from uk. you had best read up on "ice" it is addictive, it is a form of meth. it should not be "experimented" with by kids or anyone for that matter.definately not a "party" drug . If you will notice each "new " drug that comes along is worse than the last so what does that tell you??????

Obviously since you're expressing doubt, it is bad. Anything labeled a "drug" which isn't a perscription has adverse side effects, anything from death to insomnia.
