What kind of documents are needed to marry a non citizenship person? I''m a US citizen but my boyfriend is not. Does he need specific documents to fulfill any requirement? Does the process tae long time? Do I go to county court to ask these questions? or INS?

if you marry in vegas ..just an id card or driving liscense
your bf needs his passport

if you marry in the states your B/F will need proof of his legitimacy VISA (green card ) 2 forms of ID acceptable to the county clerk fiancee visa ecct not as simple as you think should he not comform he may just be arrested at the court house as for citizenship forget it for 5 long yrs marriage does NOt get your husband to be US Citizenship

Hi!
I don't think you need to do much paperwork, my father is a US citizen and married my mom, which is Spainish. They married overseas but there weren't any problems at all! I guess it depends where youre trying to marry him and If he is leagl(if in the US). Fight for it and don't get bumed out if it's more dificult than you thought, love is worth all the time in the world!!

the most important parts
1. he needs to have a criminal history check
2. the relationship needs to be longstanding and demonstrably genuine.
