I would not use the word cool to describe such an act.
Putting aside the theory that this young lady is simply crazy, in which case she needs your help and not your violence, I have trouble believing this "no reason at all" theory of yours.
Maybe a little self reflection might be in order here.
I'm sure she has friends. Could you have done something to one of them? After all, you are a guy. And if you're actually considering that hitting a girl might be okay, then you're probably somewhat less than perfectly mannered toward others.
However, if she really did slap you for no reason, she's either deeply disturbed and needs help. Or she mistook you for someone else. Either way, punching her isn't going to help.

hello....???? what happened to all the gentlemen??? Of course it's wrong to hit back, even if you are a woman...!!! Jesus asked to turn the other cheek, so just do it...U know you have the power and advantage of being stronger...you x have to hit back. Think of her as your mom or sis slapping you...would you punch her in the gut??? Doin nothing might break your pride, at least you haven't lost YOUR civility and sense...plus, she might be sorry for what she did...anger kills dude..don't do something u might regret l8r on..

Despite what your brain might tell you, I doubt there is "no reason" for a woman to slap you in the face. That said, it's bad form for her to slap you, really, unless you did something extremely inappropriate. And, if a woman DOES slap you, take it like a man, don't hit her back. I know, that sounds old-fashioned, but it's the way it works.

What would really be COOL would be if you were the bigger MAN, and walk away from it. Then later, if you still want to deal with her at all, let her know how unacceptable it is.
I hate when a woman thinks that she is protected by the social unacceptability of a man hitting a woman and takes advantage of it by becoming abusive.
And if it happens again... be done with her.

No. There is no excuse for violence in either men or women. As a man, you have superior strength and should be ashamed of even having asked the question.
If you had been a decent man with a good upbringing who knows it is never acceptable to hit woman I would have advised you just to stay away from her.
But it sounds like you two deserve each other.

If a woman slaps you in the face, you probably deserve it.
Far too many men are jerks. Take your just punishment for being so stupid. Men are supposed to hit each other, they do it so often and so well. No wonder so many men are in prison.

Hell Nah boy are you nuts? Man the system is designed to protect women specialy from abuse its messed up but. what if she calls the police on you they arent going to give a jack crap about what she did to you there going to arrest you and you probably dont even have a mark on your face my man. i tell you how to get even find something she likes and mess it up or inviter her to and expensive dinner and tell her to buy a dress and ditch her lol hell i did a girl who was trying to date me and my best freind at the same time like that . i invited her to the prom and the day of the prom i told her to meet meet me there she she called me three time and i never showed up. theres plenty of ways to get back at a female trust use your imagination you will find something
