For people to wake up?
A bio weapon?
A nuke, anywhere USA?
The irrational part of me says, "Let it happen so that WE as a nation will be galvanized.".
But then I see what happend after 9/11. We came together for a day, a week, a month on the high side. Then the ugly finger pointing and nut case conspiracy theorists came out.

Why not point the finger at the dirty islamo-radicals to which the deeds can REALLY be attributed. Is that too much too ask?

even if there were a bio weapon that hit our nation and it came with a video tape of a dirty islamo-radical actually setting the dam.n thing off.. we would still blame everyone but ourselves for not heading the warning. i am almost positive it would sound something like " bush didnt make us believe him"

it's not too much to ask. we asked bush why he walked away from bin laden when we had him in kandahar, but all bush would do is say - saddam, wmd, blah blah blah.

It is a very irrational part of you - don't forget, the PNAC of which Cheney, Wolfowitz and others are members, said we need a pearl harbor event to 'galvanize' america against IRAQ!!!! They wrote this in the clinton years.... gee....

Why was it only good for a month after 9/11? Because bush immediately set into motion his plan to destroy civil liberties and set about dividing america into (brain dead) 'patriots' and thinking, liberal 'scum.'

And because bush kept saying, when talking about 9/11, "I hit the Trifecta." That was gross and disturbing.

Then, Bush had all the rubble shipped away from WTC without it being examined, he read a book about a goat, he refused to let the 9/11 commission form and when it did he only talked to them while sitting on cheney's lap.

Why focus on the deeds of islamo-radicals when your countryment are torturing and killing people our own military acknowledges are innocent? How can you tell us apart through our hoods? Not by our actions.

So, what will it take to break through the brainwashing which has curdled your inability to think to the point that you want an attack on your own country. turn off fox and rush and that evil mike savage.

read 1984 and remember - orwell wrote it about us. what can people who don't understand the value of literature gain from it?
they will see Bush's America in orwell's description of how the govt twists the meaning of words, so that patriotic dissent becomes treason, war becomes peace, lies become truth. They will see Bush's America in the "ten minute hate" and they will Bush's America is the description of Room 101 and how citizens can be induced through fear to betray their beloved principles and each other.

Drink Up, oily gin drinkers.

Oh, we woke up all right, to find in the aftermath a group of greedy morons doing a power grab ins ted of setting things right. Forest Gump could have done a better job, if you noticed in the movie, he never dropped his gun while saving his fellow soldiers. You need to wake up, and quit being a scared little puppy dog!

There are always those who have their head in the sand .
They will be the first to scream when something happens.
I think their attitudes are more related to fear which creates the slave mentality.
People need to stand up and be counted stay alert and report any
thing suspicious it is a war and we all need to help keep the freedom we appreciate.

Sorry, but this country has become a me-me society. It won't wake up in time and will pay the ultimate price. Unfortunately, your "irrational" side is absolutely correct.

I doubt even nuking Chicago and New York would wake half the liberals out of their I hate Bush stupor. They would sit around and wonder why people hate us instead of fighting for survival. They are the types that would surrender easily and happily become the slaves of their new masters.

I agree... the thing is that no matter what is going on there WILL ALWAYS be someone that doesn't like it... There is a church group going around protesting the funerals of the men and women that died in Iraq... That makes me mad!!! My point is no matter what we think the right thing to do is, someone will always have a diff opinion on the matter...
