Why are you seeking a girlfriend why aren't you seeking someone to marry? Sure first she will be your girlfriend but your question has as an ultimate a girlfriend, or so it seems.
In which case it is evident that you motive must be different than for finding a wife, am I right? Why of course and in which case you are most likely seeking a girlfriend for the wrong reasons, most likely selfish ambitions, so thank God you haven't been able to "find" one cause it would have caused both of you much heartache.
You need to be willing to be sacrificial and genuine. If this is you then naturally you will attract a potential future wife and naturally she will like you because you didn't have to try to be anyone else but yourself. How simple

Okay grasshopper here's the deal. Some people are just shy and inexperienced so are reluctant to make that first move. Sometimes these traits prevent others from appoaching or being drawn to the shy person. Sometimes said person is just not finding the right social group or opportunities. For example, if the kids in your town like to hang out, party and drink and you prefer reading, and quiet conversation, you might need to consider other options. Try conversing by e-mail, joining specific clubs or groups.

Well, if you're a guy - most guys mature slower than girls do and they don't take the time to observe them, figure them out or do the kinds of things that are truly impressive to them. It's like okay - I know a guy who is overweight, doesn't take good care of his appearance and sports an 80's haircut. He's thinking he wants to date some model looking rich girl. Okay - if you wanted to impress a girl who is that focused on her outward appearance - you first of all have to make some changes to match the kind of guy she's looking for - then you have to get a better job. Most of the time, guys have out of this world expectations on who they would be willing to date. They are looking for a perfect princess when they are a warty toad. They look down on and pick on girls they perceive are ugly, don't take good care of themselves or are nerdy and would never consider one not well endowed and so forth when they aren't any better themselves and they are not spectacular. Sometimes, it has nothing to do with the guy and how he thinks or how mature he is - sometimes it just takes time to find the right person - and that is totally okay.

because they don't know how to socialize with other people and find it hard for others to pay attention to them, they are boring and don't know how to have fun, also, they are not interesting to other people, why do you ask?
