Get the poor cat spayed, heard they hurt when there in their fertile time! Also, keep the cat indoor if you have enough space or go outside too because not only a cat can get pregnant but all animals can get diseases, ticks and could get killed by a car!

There are two ways:
1) Get her spayed.
2) Keep her indoors at all times and away from any intact male cats.

it depends on why you have the cat. If she is just a stray or Heinz 57 then get her spayed. If she is going to be bred then keep her separated from the males. You may have to pin her up while she is in heat, and the males also, they will try to get her through the cage to get to her accommodations

getting it fixed is the easiest way, cant give birth control pills to a cat

If you call an animal shelter, they can spay or neuter your pet cheaply or at least tell you where you can do this for not too much money.
