z I miss two food products.
First, was a product called "Breakfast Squares (circa:early '70's)." I think that they were too dry for the average consumer, but I would slam it down with a tall glass of milk.
Second, was a candy bar called the "Uno" bar. Extremely rich in a subtle chocolate cream taste.

I use to love a biscuit/ cake made by Lyons called Coconut Crunch? They were about 3 1/2" in diameter and one side was like a biscuit made of coconut and the other side had chocolate on. They came in packs of 4 and I use to love them but when I went overseas for 3 years and then returned, they were off the shelf! Times change!

Spangles came in so many varieties but my favourite were Old English and they were absolutely LUSH!

Back in the 60's and 70's they brought 'Mintesers' out for a trial run and they were the best sweet out, chocolate and mint together and on the same format as Maltesers.

Are you old enough to remember Spangles?

McCowans Highland Toffee - is currently destined for the chop -

Fry's Five Boys - chocolate, disappeared many years ago.

Keillers - Butterscotch - Marmalade - and other products. Keillers [Dundee] no longer exists as it had done.

There exist many products that I would like to see being removed from the market and replaced by long gone products.

Regards Biggles

Kunzle Cakes
Blackcurrant eclairs (toffee type, not the cream type)
Amazin' Raisin' bars
Aztec bars
Chicken Provencal mix that Crosse & Blackwell used to do
Midnight Mint choc ices

The list is endless, but you can pretty much guarantee that if I like it, it'll be discontinued.

Incidentally, person who was looking for Lucky Charms, I think Lidl do their own version of them and I'm pretty sure you can get them in America still, but it's a long way to go for a bowl of cereal!

Spanish gold, Beta bars, army and navy sweets, football chums, lucky mines, I've heard there is a place here in Belfast in Smithfield market, that sells sweets close enough in taste, to some of the discontinued sweets e.g Spanish gold

How about the "GYRO" at ARBYS...get ya hooked on them, then take them away!
Jiffy (little blue box) Brownie mix. That's what we have used for years. Try to find it now...impossible.
One thing for our cats...Meow Mix Hairball Control in the large 22.5 lb bag. Economically cheaper than the little bags. Especially when you have 4 furry four leggers and those little bags are like a snowball in H&ll around here! Only found in the tiny bags!

When I was a kid I used to love Birds Eye (I think) boil in the bag cod in smoked haddock sauce. Also Findus Crispy Pancakes with smoked haddock filling.

I too used to love cremeola foam...but on a trip to Germany I found an equivalent 'brause pulver' tastes pretty much the same but not as much foam as the cremeola had.
