recently purchased some Nivea "Sun Kissed" face moisturiser but am yet to use it since it dawned on me that i would probably be missing large parts of my head/neck and it might look stupid - e.g. between my sideburn and my ear, the side/back of my neck, my ears themselves, around the "sensitve eye area".
Do i have a point?
How am i meant to use it? Or should i buy a fake tan BODY moisturiser and apply it EVERYWHERE???? Can you apply it near to your eyes? Or is pale skin negligable when you avoid the eye area when using fake tan??
What are the downsides?? Or are the streaky, blotchy days of 2001 now behind us courtesy of new technology, new products???
Thanks for your help

use body tan preferabbly loreal or a shops own make such as tesco use it on your face but only a small amount and apply fake tan to the rest of your body to clean exfoliated skin and wash your hands carefully as they tend to go orange and dont put clothes on till your properly dry apparently hope that helped

No you don't have to worry about not getting it everywhere. These moisturisers with a hint of self tan literally do just give you a hint of tan. You can build it up by applying it everyday or just use it as and when you need a boost. It is made mainly to moisturise your skin which makes it easier to apply and harder to get streaks. The tan should be so gradual that any "missed parts" should go unnoticed! The only parts which will go orange unless you carefully wash them will be the bits in between your fingers and toes so make sure to wash them when you have applied it.

Good Luck to you. I have in the past tried at least 4 or 5 different sunless tanners, and none of them work the way they should. They either leave you looking streaked, blotchy, or dirty. Also if you are not well moisturized before using it, they seem to stay on the very surface of your skin and within a few days, you can literally rub it off. Even tanning lotions with bronzers usually don't look very natural. People with pale complexions, like myself, have a hard time, making it look good, and even people with pretty good tans, if you look hard enough will see it looks different on different parts of the body......I don't like them, but if you do try and it works good, let us know....Good luck and take care!

I apply it to my face, just like i would moisturiser. Be careful, to put it on your neck as well, gently rub it in, and go round the back of your neck as well. Go right to the edge of your face, so not to get a "tide" mark, but don`t do your ears. Go gently around your eye area, above and below, with just a touch of it, and gently work it in. Just don`t put too much on in one go, or it might streak.

go to a tanning salon and use a spray on machine it will look 10 times better than using a cheap option that could irritate your skin and no mess!

the best way to apply it is to be totally nude and have a friend help. Streaks and blotches are possible, but products are much better these days.

the most important thing is you MUST defoliate and then use body lotion otherwise you will go blotchy and streaky because of dead skin cells
