If religious folks decided that geometry and calculus were a threat to their religious worldview then you can be sure they would deny it just as some of them deny evolution.
NB never forget that some people are irony-challenged...

Question? You say you are an atheist-someone who doesn't believe in God. If you don't believe in God then How Can You Believe in the Devil? They are both spirit creatures, are they not? If one doesn't exist then the other wouldn't either. Therefore, how could you be a pawn of Satan? However, if you are willing to acknowledge the existence of the two the Bible does say that Satan the Devil misleads people and blinds the minds of people. (Revelation 12:9) . . .So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him. (2 Corinthians 4:3-4) . . .If, now, the good news we declare is in fact veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing, 4 among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through. That doesn't mean that there is no hope though. The Bible says that there can be a change. (2 Corinthians 3:16) . . .But when there is a turning to God, the veil is taken away. If you search for the truth from God and conform your life to His ways, then you do not have to be a pawn of Satan.

First, I'm a Christian.
Second, I believe in MICRO-evolution.
Yes, calculus and geomotry ARE both theories, but they are APPLICABLE theories. It's like the theory of gravity, which is backed up by scientific FACT.
Evolution, on the other hand, is NOT. I don't think evolution is evil. However, the way it's taught is wrong. Children should be taught to have an open mind, and to think for themselves.
I believe in both God AND science.
I wish you would try to be more open-minded.

Evil from Good is not an abomination. It's a part of life that helps create neutrality and evil helps us to appreciate good. Good cannot exist without evil for there would be nothing to establish difference; alas, there wouldn't be any way to establish good or evil or neutrality. So learn some more before you call judgement little sheep.

The first thing we need to do is to take it out of schools. For this, we need a replacement so that people can learn the truth. Let's get a lawyer to create "Intelligent Arithmetic"
The basic premise would be that because these advanced calculations are unreliable, (they always make you 'double check' your answers!) they must not be true, and therefore God made numbers. It's perfect, logical, and non-religious! Let's start pushing to put IA in schools.

You are obviously pulling our legs. The Book is full of references
to NUMBERS. That they have not only scientific, but metaphysical meaning, (relating to spititual realities).
Scientists say they can find a number equivalent for a bologna
sandwich, yet knock numerology. And religious people talk about
12 this, and 7 that, and knock numerology too.
12 symbolizes 12 vortexes at work on our world. One in the
Bermuda Triangle.
And 7 symbolizes LIGHT. The 6 primary colors, red, orange,
yellow, green, blue, and violet, which combined form white, or clear light.

Knowledge is gold and ignorance is evil.
And Ive yet to see Maths being a tool for ignorance ^^
That being said, you should rethink your position.
Without geometry and calculus, we wouldnt be able to build houses. Thats evil?
