ehem, pardon me, but you really got it misinterpreted. Those verses were revealed when the muslims and those who fight against them were at war that time. Islam encourage self defense as what are stated above. Is it ungodly to protect yourself? of course not, it is a sacred obligation.
it is also wrong for muslims to kill anyone during peacetime, truce, ceasefire, surrenders, or otherwise Have you seen the movie "kingdom of heaven"? It's a true story, the crusaders were allowed to return home when they surrendered to the muslim forces. They were even provided with provisions and escorts for a safer passage. That's how chivalry prevails among muslim warriors.
and have you learned from history when another wave of crusaders beseiged jerusalem, all the muslims, warriors, women, children, old people and even animals were massacred, NOt only that, even jewish and christian hebrews and arabs were not spared. They too were all massacred.Religious buildings of any denominations were burned and sacked, Women violated. How's that for a religion of peace? It's recorded history.
there is a verse in the koran that says that all wars be stop when there are agreements of peace among its other and even if the muslims are victorious, there is no force conversion on the penalty of death. Non muslims can still continue to practice their beliefs which they thought is true. They need not leave the territory of the muslim but can live and trade and have interfaith marriages with them peacefully. It would be a great sin for a muslim not to be thoughtful to his neighbors, muslims or non muslims.
i hope you be enlightened . God be with you and bless you.

Verses are read in context:

Quran 2:190: 'And fight in the way of Allah with those who fight with you, and do not exceed the limits, surely Allah does not love those who exceed the limits.'

Quran 2:192: ' But if they cease (to fight you), Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.'

Quran 2:193: 'And fight them on until there is no more Tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah; but if they cease, Let there be no hostility except to those who practise oppression' <----notice the word oppresion. God allows humans the right to self defense.
-----

Your second verse is in the same chapter 'The Cow' and relates to what I mentioned above.

-----

The third verse doesnt even exist. If youre gonna state a verse do more than just copy pasting information youre not sure of.
-----
and last but not least, the verse at the end:

if you look carefully at the verse right after that one youll see:

Quran: 4.75 . How should ye not fight for the cause of Allah and of the feeble among men and of the women and the children who are crying : Our Lord! Bring us forth from out this town of which the people are oppressors! Oh , give us from Thy presence some protecting friend! Oh , give us from Thy presence some defender!'
----

You wanna fight? fight for the cause of good, agaisnt opressors says God in his last Book the Quran. Nothing wrong with that...or is there?

because we are residing in cutting-part circumstances, it quite is onlyproductive to study those religions as they are actually. The old techniques do no longer impression our lives now. Jesus gave us the hot Covenant, that's what Christians shop on with. What Christians and Muslims shop on with is the subject material, so what they suspect is critical. in basic terms the hot Covenant is relevent while discussing Christians. The old is exciting, yet no longer a source e book to inform us what to assume from Christians. Islam does not have 'new'. It nonetheless demands killing of all 'infidels'.

I honestly don't know the context of these verses...maybe someone with a good knowledge of this book will answer. I do know that some Christians and Jews have and currently do use verses out of context from the Bible to justify warfare...oldest lame excuse in the world to sanctify hatred.

As I understand it, those verses were spoken in reference to the people who ruled Mecca, when Muhammad was living at Medina.

The people of Mecca had persecuted Muhammad and his followers, and so Muhammad and his followers fled to Medina, where they lived. But there was still conflict between Mecca and Medina. The people of Mecca even attacked Medina.

The reason for the hostility of the Meccans toward Muhammad and his followers was that the Meccans did not believe in Allah as a supreme God. Therefore, Muhammad referred to the Meccans as "unbelievers".

I don't think that the verses of the Qur'an which talk about attacking "unbelievers" referred to anyone but the people of Mecca.

Koran is a complete God's recommend book. How can you recommend your son to live in security and peace when you didn't mention him about war if he someday force to do that.
Why are you training Tekwondo, Judo , karate? Are you determine to attack people? Was this mean you must attack to anyone you desire?

Each part of quran has more meanings. In this part you say "Quran says to kill the infidels" God dosen't mean slaves kill or fight to each other " when you just turn your face from your son during you are punishing him, your son may wish to die or feels he has dead in his father's mind, Then "kill" dosent mean to spill someone blood on the earth you know ? kill may means pay no attention or avoid ,...

The same way Christians can love their family even though Jesus says to hate their family to be Saved:

Doublethink.

If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
Luke 14:26

And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
Matthew 19:29

Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.
And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.
Luke 18:28-30

Just for the record "infidel" is a European term for "one without faith", it is derived from the L "indidelis"="faithless", and was used by the Catholic Church to refer to Non-Catholics in particular and Non-Christians in general. Why would the Quran enjoin anyone to kill non-Christians? That would mean they'd have to convert or kill themselves.
