Exactly the same as any other clap sounds. The word "clap" is not specifically to do with hands, but just a striking of something.

When you put one hand beneath your arm pit and attempt to clap the other it sounds somewhat like a fart. The zen monks get a big kick out of it.....

You can clap with one hand - if hold your hand open, then you close your hand really quickly so it makes a slapping sound against your palm.
