the top of the jaffa cake is the sponge. this is because when you set down a jaffa cake is rests better on the chocolate than on the sponge, so the chocolate section has a flatter surface and can rest better on surfaces than on the sponge section.

I love jaffa cakes i always eat the sponge first suck all the chocalate off then leave the jelly bit till last.

The choccy side for sure! I always eat around the choc and jam, then peel off the sponge from underneath, peel off the choc from the top and then eat the jam bit by itself!

Messy, but delicious!

I'd have to say the chocolate, but when I put it in my mouth I have the chocolate on the bottom against my tongue.
