Let the co-worker know that you are aware of what he or she is doing and that you forgive him/her. Going to the boss and complaining will put you on the same level as your co-worker. Turn this matter over to God and let him handle it for you. I feel that in short order your co-worker will make the tragic mistake of claiming credit for something that you did wrong, and then he/she will look like a fool.

I'm not sure what your position is at your job but it falls on you to make it known to the boss what you have done. Don't let your co-worker present anything for you. Take the initiative and speak directly to your boss.

I think most people have a pretty good BS meter. I can certainly tell if someone is overly boastful or claiming credit for something he/she couldn't have possibly done. In your next review with your boss, gently let him/her know about your accomplishments on the job. Good luck. ;)

expose the fraud for what he/she truly is. for you not to step up and do this naturally just shows that you are a submissive specimen and do not like conflict. I on the otherhand would grab this co-worker by the throat and say if you do that one more time, im going to gut you from the inside out with my booie knife

I am low on the totem pole, but have been at my job through many different kinds of management, thus learning management. I have seen a General Manager introduce my ideas and was totally floored. If the GM would have implemented my idea instead of suggesting it was his/hers, It to me would be alright, mostly because I want to see this company improve, but getting a leg up on something managers know nothing about is just wrong, what goes around comes around, and sometime not. Charge on!!!!!!!!!

Next time try to update the work u have done to your boss constantly. This put u at the position where your boss knows yr work status. About that co worker of yours, jokingly hinting to him/her that ur not easily fooled.

Good Luck!

P/s: In every organisation/corporate, this type of people just keep popping around taking credits from others.

Diplomacy and tact will work in this situation. Quick thinking and speaking in front of the supervisors will help too.

Be careful not to act upset or bitter. Always smile and be interested in what's going on around you.

Think of something that sounds real good that could not possibly work and share the idea with the parasite.

Keep letting them, and then when they make that person your new boss, your new boss will give you a raise.

you got to meet your boss for a head on conversation...don't go in with i have a complaint...go in with I have a problem...state the facts first, on each account that she has stolen your credit...let them know that you like working there...and think that company is a great place to get ahead....and you would like for your ideals...to be noted as such......also let them know you don't mind sharing the stage.....but credit is do...where credit is do....
