they are not to hard to make yourself, believe me I have been a cake decorator for 30 years, and I have made plenty of them myself

It's a lot to think about, isn't it? I completely understand, just went through all of this May 23rd. Cakes - I did cupcakes and it was great! My mom found the plastic tiers at a garage sale and decorated with flowers and such from Michaels. It was so nice to not have to deal with the whole cutting the cake thing. We got the cupcakes from Costco and they were so good and very inexpensive. And so big that we cut every one in half to serve, that was plenty. We put two cupcakes on top and I got these really cute bride and groom rubber ducks from Party City to put on those. The dress thing is hard. Wine or cinnamon would defintely be fall'ish but you know what? It's your show. Have exactly what you want. And maybe ask your maid of honor what she thinks, what she would feel best in. And honestly when it comes down to it, she could wear a bathrobe and it wouldn't matter because all eyes will be on you. I didn't do a sit down either. The ceremony was at 1:30 and the reception was immediately after. I did all finger foods. I wanted people to be able to walk past and grab what they wanted and not have to sit down and deal with plates and silverware, etc. We did turkey rollups from Costco which were very reasonable. My mom made a fruit plate and had chips and dip. I bought store brand sodas in several "flavors" and got little bottled waters from Costco as well. It was simple and really it was wonderful. Just remember this is your show. Don't let anyone talk you into doing anything you don't want.

Instead of a wedding cake, you're going to have 7 layers of cupcakes? On a cheap rack? In Scotland?

Interesting.

Sorry, I don't know where to find one. I didn't even know they exist.
