Jesus only claimed God was in him, just like anyone else can claim if God is everywhere. And the angels and prophets only only stated that people would claim that Jesus (or some man) would be refered to by men as God. Where is the truth? If it is true that Jesus is God and God is soooooo wise why couldn't he make such a basic and simple statment to clarify something that is so important? I don't understand..............

My intention isn't to be close-minded or a trouble maker, but if extrapulating truth is what we are supose to do to deduce the deity of God, where does it end?

Does the Bible Say 'Jesus is God'?

Mark 10:17-18 and Luke 18:18-19
These verses are highlighted because they are most indicative of Jesus' position and real nature. The verse in Mark reads:

"As he [Jesus] was setting out on a journey, a man ran up and knelt before him, and asked him, 'Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?' Jesus said to him, 'Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone." If you analyze this verse in truth you will see that Jesus, quite simply, is not God. If he was, why then would he say "No one is good but God alone"? Jesus did not want to be called "good" because he was not God. That title, as Jesus admits, belongs to none but God.

The Bible goes against the very nature of man and the teachings of Jesus and Moses PBUT. It is very confusing to try to justify the belief in the Trinity. This is because the Trinity is a man-made doctrine that was drawn up several hundred years after Jesus. In this time period different interpretations of the Bible were causing serious debates among Christians. The various interpretations were, undoubtedly, due to human perversion of the original scriptures, poor preservation, and/or shoddy translations. One of the main things being questioned was the nature of God and Jesus. Was Jesus actually God, the son of God, or just a messenger? The Council of Nicea was formed in an attempt to settle this dispute, and the Nicea Creed (the Trinitarian doctrine) was subsequently hammered out.

God can't be proved or perceived with fabric senses (eyes, ears, nostril and so forth) nor with meterial aids. God is aprakrutha - non fabric - and changless. God is the guy who lords over prakrutha and jeevathma. God is noticeably diverse from prakrutha and the grasp of it. We the jeevathma have the panchabutha physique, thoughts and intelligence that's all area of prakruthi and hence they are all ineffective to work out God or end approximately Him. yet we beings are certainly the religious athma and not the physique or thoughts. The athma ever maintains to be a jnanamayan (finished expertise) and anadamayan (organic bliss). yet lined by the prakruthi by way of our karma. Athma will restoration to its unique glory as quickly as the karma is burnt completely. in this human beginning it is achievable for one and all to comprehend (=data).

the rhetoric, is because "man" tries to make sense of everything in the head instead of the heart. The answers are with us when we are born and then comes the training of the mind and thus the illusions. Jesus claimed to be the son of God and god is within. We all have God(I prefer spirit) within. We are all reflections of each other and can chose which reflection we will be to others. Jesus and other masters have chose reflections that others can see the God within--unconditional love.

Hi Bob.

You have it exactly right, they are the ones who have it wrong.

They seem to have managed to get everything else backwards why would you expect this to be an exception?

Jesus ask little of us, basically only that we love our neighbor. Jesus made no exceptions to this rule. Yet if you listen to many who think of them selves as Christians they endlessly quote old testament nonsense that goes against everything that the man Jesus taught and modeled for us in his life.

Jesus taught an inclusive coherent method to attain peace and oneness in this lifetime. His turn the other cheek, judge not, forgive those you have seen as enemy's and love your neighbor path to peace and enlightenment is all but ignored by the christian religions. It is never taught as a coherent method to a peaceful life that it is.

This is unfortunate that the religion that claims the man Jesus as its own is the single most effective force in subverting his true teachings.
It is as though they took everything that He stood for and turned it upside down.

Perhaps this is what has been so long referred to as the anti Christ, or the opposite of Christ.

Love and blessings

Jesus is not the God of paradise , neither is he the Trinitarian Son . He is the Creator son of this local universe. How do I know ? What shape is the world we are on? I have never actually seen it , but I know it to be roundish by study , personal observation and logical conclusion. Same thing with Jesus. A little revelation helps.

Actually, you didn't wait to get enough answers to your previous question. There is a point in Matthew's Gospel where Jesus says that Peter's belief that he--Jesus--is the Christ was revealed to Peter from God the Father.

To answer this question of yours: He could have made a simple and basic statement. He chose not to.

You only get to understand why he made this choice when you seek God and find him.

That is, God does not reveal his mysteries to those who mock him or approach him in pride.

Anyone can claim to be God, but you rightly put your finger on the real issue: What evidence is there to support their claim? The answer is clear: None. But Jesus Christ was different, and the reason is because He not only claimed to be God, but His whole life was a witness to its truth. Because of that, He alone could truthfully say, "I and the Father are one" (John 10:30).

What evidence is there for Jesus' divinity? The first is that of His sinless life—something only God could do. The Bible says Jesus was "tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin" (Hebrews 4:15). Then there is the evidence of His miracles—miracles that demonstrated the power of God.

But the final proof of Jesus' divine nature was His resurrection from the dead. Anyone could claim to be the Son of God, but only Christ proved it by coming back from the grave—an event witnessed by hundreds. Who was Jesus Christ? He was God in human flesh—and He came into this world for one reason: to save us from our sins. Why not open your heart to Him today?

Because if Jesus actually existed he was only a human who had lost his mind and became delusional, he may have been a good person with good intentions, but you have to admit he was insane. What would we say to any man who came up to us and said he was the son of god, or god himself for that matter? We would call him crazy and have him institutionalized right? With good reason. Not only because I don't believe there is a god, but because its just loony.

If Jesus is God, He will address you in the language you understand not in His own language. Most prophets addressed people in their own languages which were so much misunderstood or misinterpreted that this misinterpretation and this misunderstanding led to controlling human's mind. Before Jesus the relationship between Humans and God was based on fear, so people did not love God but they feared Him. God "the creator" does not want His creatures to fear Him, He wants them to love him. When they love Him, their minds will be free and they will think to know and their knowledge will lead them to more communication and interaction with God. Jesus Christ was the only ONE to pinpoint the sort of the relationship between people and God. Jesus knows the inner intention of God. "No one knows your intentions but you" and no one knows God's intentions but God. So Jesus is God. God is omnipotent and omniscient, thus He took the human image (Jesus) for us to love him. If God is omnipotent can't he die, can't he feel pain, can't he be born, can't he show himself to his creatures, finally can't he do what his creatures do? Sure HE can. And this was through Jesus.
