My black lab is a HUGE cuddle bug! He wants to cuddle with everyone!

I went to the pound a couple of weeks ago and got a border collie/ lab mix and my gosh he does not act like a 6 month old puppy he is more content just to sit by me and be petted all day. Follows me every where no mater where I go. And I had him house trained within 1 week They are very smart dogs to and just loves attention . Never seen a puppy act like this before lol

It really depends on the individual dog. I have four yorkshire terriers and we recently had a litter (all the pups have gone to their new homes) and other than two of the boys that are a little stand-offish, the rest are all very loving. We call them "love sponges" because they want to sit on your lap and give kisses and be petted all of the time. Very good companions. And adorable to boot!

i would try a smaller breed of dog, that isnt awkward to "cuddle" and not to heavy to lift.
I would try
Maltese Terrior
or
Pommeranian
or just any dog in general. as long as you show affection in return and dont treat it badly.

It depends on the dog. Every dog has its own personality.

It depends on the individual dog. Our schnauzer sticks to me like velcro. Every time I sit down he wants to be on my lap, usually resting his head on my chest.
Our affenpinscher mix, usually doesn't like to be held at all.

NONE!!! NO dog likes to "cuddle"!!! That's a MONKEY trait,NOT canine!!!Most pet-dogs learn to put-up w/it though.

um kind ones i think even my old doberman rubs her face to me when i pet her. at the same time, she protects me from danger

I would recommend a bichon... they're very sweet and loving.... also very playfull...
