I could imagine him coming round for tea and cake, and then being too polite to have a second piece of cake - but i'd say ' go on Osama - have another!' and, with a little quip about putting on weight, he'd accept graciously

Osam bin Laden was a very nice young man in his early ages according to CNN. Most of his associates that were interviewed spoke well of him. They even said that he hates violence.

I am sure, like every other American you are surprised why such a man with such good background turnout to be that kind of "cold murderer". The answer is simple. America has been engaged in this attitude of using terorists against Russia and any other state it thought is opposed to it during and after the cold war, you can mention names like Abu Nidal, Saddam and a whole lot of them. This people were dumped immediately they have completed their mission and these marked their first stage of anger against America.

Because America always sought reap financial rewards in all its foreign political policies, they in most cases tend to be exploitative and to the detriment of the citizens of these countries and this is what has created more serious problems for America.

Osama was a nice man, a gentle, reliegious man by his nature and wouldn't have opted for violence if he didn't find himself in the position were America earlier put him. They actually made him a succesful terrorist against Russia and when he realised that America would no longer support him in his newly found agenda (creation of an Islamic State) after the departure of Russian troops from Russia, he became furious. What fueled it further was America's role in Saudi Arabia. The way they were tapping their oil resources, the contracts going to American companies in Saiudi Arabia all infuriated him and made him hate America more than he hate them before.

I think he is probably a very intelligent, charismatic and personable man. It is just that his beliefs are so far removed from ours, and also the authorities feel very threatened by his views and actions. Of course the media are always willing to whip everyone into a frenzy, and paint a poor picture of people whose views are different.

I still think we should stand up against him, because if he has his way, we would all be wearing funny clothes and living in caves, eating on fried egg between four. A tea party at his place would be a very sorry affair.

This individual is the problem of King Faad. Though His Majesty has been silent on the matter, the fact remains that Laden was angry with his King and Saudi Arabia is a sovereign nation that needs no advice from outside on how to deal with a tribal matter. Truth is painful at times. This is one of those times. Let's hope that King Faad is actually a King and not just a businessman. Patience, dear. Kings are rare and slow to become what they are.
