well i want it to buy clothes as well as for painting some banners for they need differert colour combinations

get a color wheel - it will explain what and how colors play off of each other
orange-blue
red-green
yellow-purple
these combinations are opposites on the wheel & they will vibrate with a pleasing intensity if they are the appropriate saturation

Black goes with every thing white, blue, orange, yellow etc bright colours.
White goes with baby pink
