Ask those who have been in Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, China or N. Korea. They deal with this on a daily basis.
And it will happen worldwide when the antichrist is in power. There will be one world religion and if you don't serve it, you will be beheaded.
What do I think of that? I don't like it one bit. No one should force someone to worship in a certain way. I am Christian and I wouldn't want people to be forced into Christianity. It's pointless and it's evil.
By your scenario, if people were forcing others to be Christian by force, then they are not enforcing Christianity. So of course I would try to help those that were oppressed. In fact, I already do that because I'm in the military.
We have ousted Hussein and hopefully Bin Laden soon. Those people rule in the way you described. So I am already active in that cause.

Didn't this already happen a long time ago.
I live in America and it was founded on religious freedom, and even though it's not exactly acting on what it preaches for the most part today, I would fight back.
You have the right to believe what you want. No law should tell you so.

sounds like the catholics of medieval Europe. that would really suck to have to live through the Spanish Inquisition. I know I would end up stretched on a rack and then toasted crispy tied to a stake in a bonfire. Are you thinking the Fundies are headed that way, cause then everybody should fight a pre-emptive war and do to them what they would do to us.

Some islamic fundimentalist think that way now, Some christians thought that in the past, It waxes and wanes through history. Your question is a bit complex. I don't think murder in the the name of god or allah is a good thing, I don't support it.

If my faith were to become the only "legal" faith, the things you speak of would never happen.

I do not think I would be able to live and bear it, because my friends all are of a different faith than me. I would fight for them, and if we have to die, we would die together.

first that happens some places. If you have a Christan faith and I was made to worship Buddha. Then I would just keep worshiping Jesus/God if I get killed then so be it.

What do you call the Spanish inquisition? This has been happening all through history. Mock away to your own peril.
God is not mocked.
Silly atheist.
