When the Bible is read as a whole, and in proper perspective with proper interpretation....there is none.
And saxquiz:
Not at all. You have not done your homework.
The Gospel accounts are slightly different because the men wrote them from their personal perspective. They are like "witness statements" taken at a crime scene. All tell the same story with slightly differing details. They do harmonize though.
**2.) Who killed Goliath?
**(a) David (I Samuel 17:23, 50)
**(b) Elhanan (2 Samuel 21:19)
This example is just plain ridiculous.
**3.) Did Jesus pray to The Father to prevent the crucifixion?
**(a) Yes. (Matthew 26:39; Mark 14:36; Luke 22:42)
**(b) No. (John 12:27)
Neither of your speculative answers is right here. Have you even studied the Gospels at all? It doesn't appear you have.
**4.)When Paul saw the light he fell to the ground. Did his traveling companions also fall to the ground?
**(a) Yes (Acts 26:14)
**(b) No (Acts 9:7)
Another simple minded grasp.....study again.
**There are so many. The geneology of Jesus in 2 of the gospels doesn't even match up.
The geneologies do not match because one traces Joseph's line and the other traces Mary's line. They both descended from the line of David. Study it again and you will even see where the line split.
Please learn what you're talking about before making a fool of yourself again.

Thou shalt not kill/Suffer not a witch to live
Cain is chastised by god for making an animal sacrifice/Jesus tells Paul that animals were put on the earth for man to use
Judas runs in fear from Jesus and is unforgiven/Pilot crucifies Jesus and he is absolved of sin.
The better offer might be finding a passage of the bible that doesn't contradict something else written.

The skeptics' annotated bible's section on contradictions has 377 of them listed. That should keep you busy for a while!
Note that the SAB site allows christians to post their responses to the various contradictions. I recommend posting your answers there.

The Bible is loaded with contradictions. Where can one begin? I'll give a general contradiction. Compare the four gospels. These are quite different accounts of events and Jesus's words. That is, if you combine the gospels into one historical document, you'll end up with Jesus and others saying completely different things, and totally different descriptions of the same events.
"Saxquiz" (see below) gives some excellent examples.

The problem most people have is ignorance. The Bible does not contradict itself, if it is read in context everything makes sense. When you take separate Bible verses and compare it to each other it seems contradictory, but it was taken out of context.
Edit: Deazone I suggest you look the word contradict up in a dictionary before you attempt to answer, as it is clear you have no clue what is being asked.
Edit:
Deazone... The question in: "contradictions IN the Bible" . I appologize, maybe I should have told you to look "in" up in the dictionary rather.

Creation of the world in six days, compared to how the Science community explains how the world came into existence.
unknown_perfect
I suggest that **you** look at the definition of the word contradict.
The Bible's creation does contradict what Science has shown to have happened.
Nice attempt to belittle me.
Yeah, it is *in* the Bible, and it contradicts Science. Otherwise why does the asker not ask "Does the Bible contradict itself?"
Seeing that the Bible is supposed to be a guide to the real world, and the creation *story* is supposed to be real, it contradicts what Science shows to be real.

You have got to be a Jehovah's Witness!!!!
Ok, here are a few. When God created Eve, he pulled a rib from Adam, THUS giving women one more rib. Contradictions>If he created Adam from whatever he created him from, why would he need a rib from him to create another? Did he run out of Adam sauce? Also, how did their children procreate, because their was no girls born to A and E, and if their was, why didn't inbreeding play a role in mental retardation as it does today. Also, Satan was cast from heaven before the earth was created for basically trying to take over into the depths of hell which is presumably under the earth's surface, and on top of all of that, why would an Angel created by the almighty want to try to take over that would get him cast out? Is that like a computer going bad from viruses and having to throw it out or expunge the hard drive?
Also, I have asked MANY MANY preachers (Church of Christ, Baptist, etc) when I was only around 8 years old if people where going to hell because they did not accept God and Jesus as their personal savior. Of course the answer was YES! Then I asked them if people on remote islands that have never been introduced to Christianity.. Of course the answer was YES! I asked why would they be tormented for something that their fathers taught them, because they know now better? Of course, they had to think about this and give me a nervous answer of “Because it is written in the Bible that way, and they should be able to feel God in their heart from far away.”
Most of the preachers I knew moonlighted on second jobs as some sort of salesman.
What a bunch of HOCUS POCUS BULLSHIT. I can go on all day with contradictions of the Bible, but mostly with the people who preach it, but I have better things to do on a beautiful Saturday then jack around on a computer that I BUILT FROM SCRATCH. It is not perfect, but it does me a good service even though it is corrupted frequently by the viruses and crap other people do to it just by communicating it. But I am not going to pick it up on day when it dies completely, and drag it behind my truck and then set it on fire. I will throw the unusable parts in the local recycling bin, so they can be created in to something else useful. Kind of like rotting in the ground when you die, you will just provide little nourishment to the ground and plants that animals eat, that you have so long raped with that little in return.
Don’t get me wrong, I am not a heathen. I am kind of agnostic. I believe there is a higher power(s) somewhere, and maybe he or they did write the Bible that we have today. I just believe if that is so, then over a course of a few thousand years, it has been changed about 65 to 75 percent, to suit the greed of money, power, and controlling people, by PEOPLE!
“A logical rational thinking man is a non-religious, non-church going, or heathen man.” (Character in 'A Farewell to Arms'-Ernest Hemingway.)
