Is it possible for some one to hope for something with such intensity that they will start to believe in it? This is applies to anything in life, such as winning the lotto, or that your child will survive cancer, etc.

Yes, You can hope, if your love is true, if your belief is true and sincere and if your love to GOD is true. It depends upon how much you are sincere in your effort and you shoul have a strong heart that is strong enough to break the walls.

yes - yes - yes.... hope is another name of belief is another name of God is another name of Universe or life... If you believe in this creation than only you believe in God.. and if you do believe in God than hope works.. You call it by any name, but the power that runs this life cycle does welcome beliefe. So believing in ones own existance is not wrong

Yes. Jesus' works of miracles while on earth make believers in him believe that any miracles can happen through fervent and consistent prayers.

One can pray to God with and ask him for that particular thing, otherwise there isnothing the way you have mentioned.
