The day of rest was supposed to be Saturday but we changed it to Sunday for reasons known to man.

From the point of faith, it does not matter what day you have your day of rest as long as you actually do give a day to the lord. So the literal meaning of having to celebrate on a Saturday becomes invalid.

So why can this seperation of faith and from literal meaning not apply to the current religion vs. science?

Why are there so many attempts to validate stories that happen in the bible, like if Noahs Ark was actually built or all that, if it is meant to teach a certain value.

I think it is an insult ot religion to try to scientifically prove events and equally insulting to the approach towards science. Faith comes from within and needs no external justification.

You might think im a religious person myself but im actually not. I am simply pointing out what I feel as the wrong approach toward science and religion. I am NOT Stating which one has more truth.

How is it insulting to religion if someone takes a scientific approach to researching events? Pure scientific method is looking for truth, regardless of a supreme being. Many religious people welcome science to study the past. Many of the great scientists concede the possibility of a supreme being. Government blocks science much more than religion does, Many governments have stopped the revealing of information because they deemed the people would not be able to handle the truth. This has happened throughout history. You probably learned that in school.

the sabbath was changed to saturday in accordance with pagan sun worshipping cults(emperor constantine the great was a member) to combine the teachings of the man jesus with the official state religion of rome at the time which was the cult of the invincible sun. sunday has no real meaning as a sabbath except to show respect to the pagan creators of christianity

The religious calender of the bible is Lunar. The Sabbath should begin at sundown on Friday, just like the orthodox Jews have it.

The Bible says that every word of it is true, that's why Christians try to prove that the **** actually happened. If you don't take every word of the Bible as truth, then you open up everything in the Bible for questioning and doubt.

Believing and having faith in something without reasons, logical, is blindness. It is a trap in darkness.
