salt will sink

if you put it in a cup it wont do anything except move when you shake it however if it has water then the salt will dissolve

sugar will also sink

same thing is there water in the cup? if so it would dissolve

baking soda and vinegar makes a cemical reaction that bubbles and if contiained in a pop bottle will blow up

baking powder in a cup of nothing will just coat the cup

with water baking powder will dissolve

but honestly nothing would evaporate because it is still there in the cup you just can't see it
