How can i self apply for a green card, not through an employer or marriage? current status H1B?

want to know what are the legal ways to get a green card and work in my current occupation, without relying on an employer to file an application (or getting married...)

If your employer won't sponsor you and you don't want to get married to a citizen, then try the 2008 Diversity Lottery.
