The best way to solve the race-relations issue is to abolish race-oriented organizations. Things like Affirmative Action, Rainbow Coalition, hyphenated American groups, ( Greek-American, French-American, Irish-Americans, etc ) Black Caucus, KKK, and organizations that cater to a racial grouping or racial objectives. We should not do things for a particular racial group, we should do it for Everyone or no one.

The best thing that happened to America was the Great Melting Pot that took people from all over the world and turned them into unclassified Americans who all spoke the same language, saluted the same flag and went to the same schools.

The American Effort during World War II when everyone pitched in to fight a common enemy is a classic example of The Melting Pot.

Separating people into groups,( ANY GROUP) is the best way to break up our country into blocks and make it easy for an enemy to destroy us,...one block at a time.

When it comes to race relations in America it is the Minority leaders that prey on and live off the minorities that keep them down.

1.Minority leaders tell the minorities everyone hates them and only they, the leaders, can protect them from the evils intent on keeping them down. It is only through them that they can find some little prosperity. This is a lie but keeps the leader in power. The minority members have to look past at others who have made it and question how they did it without the leader. Racism comes from within the race not from without in America.

2 They must break free and strive to succeed. The more that make it the better. They eventually are seen and shown the way by example inturn allowing others to break away from those that keep them down. They have to be shown the path is there.

3. After a minority has made it in America they realize people don`t hate them and they didn`t need protection at all. They that escaped the hate fear control then look back at the poor fellows who are still being used by their leaders and feel sorry for their ignorance but have to distance themselves or are ostracized. An example of this is Condi Rice, a woman who could become our next president is put down and hated by the minorities leaders. She went from a poor little girl who survived the Selma church bombing that killed her class mates to the 3rd highest position in America.

4. This minority member over time then also discovers that their grandchildren are now mixed race and those people the minority was told hated them turned out to be pretty nice people after all.

In America economic development is the answer to race relations but it can`t be given away one has to earn it. Children break their toys that are given to them because they see no value in it and it will be replaced like magic. Adults that pay for their own toy value it and protect it.
In America the individual has an unimpeded path to prosperity. The individual only has to go to school and earn it. He can look back and see that his success is his because he did it and no one stopped him along the way..
He is no longer a minority he is an American.

Education seems to hold the key to this. There are many factors.
Removing Republicans like Bush from office is a start..

< Spreading love for people rather than war for oil >

Electing a woman for president. And believe it or not allowing the U.S. government to take out single high risk people who need to be removed. < People that kill > < Sadam> for instance !

We did not have to flatten Iraq to get one guy. We could have paid someone to take him out, and it would have saved many lives.. American as well as Iraq's poor. The problem was that power went to Bush's head. He wants to rule the world and for the time being he is...

We will pay dearly for this later, because for every action there is an equal reaction. Raising the penalty for racial crimes to life in prison ! That is what we need. Make it a high crime.

Electing a Black Woman president ! By the way...

I'm a white male ? But I am driven by LOGIC not fear....

Hope that helps...

First we need to end the word race, that'll be a good start. Then we need to get rid of all of the sterotypes that's going on in the world today. And if people would begin to think about other people aand just not themselves, thinking they're better than everyone else, we could strengthen the race relations.

When America fought against slavery, our foresight may have been short. America is usually wrong since that ability to remain standing after a battle causes us to inherit the anger and resentment that is best reserved for the man in the grave. Oh, young nation, it looks bad but is better than the man in the grave, and the pint we share can lead to a better day. At least we live to quietly open our eyes again. The corpse is not so fortunate.

first stop the media stereotyping....
stop showing only minority people doing crime...drugs
Stop all racist slurs..on T.V , music, books,movies...
Teach children at a young age ..in school and at home...that all cultures are need to survive as the human race....
Mainly I think...teach people that it's not a culture that does wrong...but a person.....

There are many polititians...hollywood...upperclass people doing bad...drugs...stealing..fornication...all the same as anyone else....If you have Comcast on demand....go to Music section...then to QD3 and check out..Crack in the....you'll be so surprised ...and kind of sick at the same time....

Quit bringing up race every day. As long as you a thinking about race relations, you are thinking about race. If everyone quits noticing race, relations will be fine.

What we can do is to better understand our own bias--some we may know, others we may not. A great place to test some of your bias is a free site at Harvard University. The web site is implicit.harvard.edu
